Bloomington, IN
Boys & Girls | Grades 3-8
The 5th Annual Indiana Middle School Basketball Championship is a qualifier-based tournament with two divisions (one for Travel/Community/School teams and one for Club teams) and features top competition from all corners of the state.
All tournament games will be played in Bloomington, including on the IU campus. To the best of our knowledge, this event will become the first youth tournament ever played in the historic 10-court Bill Garrett Fieldhouse on campus*. Many thanks to the IU administration for making this happen!
* NCAA rules prohibit 7th and 8th grade boys from competing on a D-1 campus. As a result, those divisions will play at the 5-court Twin Lakes Rec Center – just two miles from campus.
The 2025 State tournament featured teams from throughout Indiana offering fresh competition for all squads. Players hailed from 204 zip codes and over 147 home towns across the state. Check out the map above with all of the hometowns represented at State 2025! #SeeYouAtStateIN
Teams earn their spot at State by placing 1st or 2nd in an Official Qualifier Tournament or League. Thank you for supporting one of these quality annual events... and be sure to say "Hello" to our State Reps attending the Qualifier Championship games!

All team rosters are verified by the State Eligibility Committee prior to tournament play. Last season, we reviewed over 21,000 Proof of Eligibility documents!
GRANDFATHER EXCEPTION: Any player who participated in a prior State tournament is automatically approved for 2026 play and does not need to re-submit Proof of Eligibility (POE) documents. However, ALL players, returning or not, are required to have a new Parent/Guardian Waiver submitted for 2026.
State Reps attend many of our Qualifier Tournaments to award top teams with their Gold Ticket invitation to State.
