We are thrilled to welcome back all our basketball families in March for the 4th Annual New England Basketball Championship! Our annual event has offered teams an exciting season-ending getaway to Providence-Tiverton, RI, focused on family fun.
The 2024 Regional Tournament featured over 130 of the top travel/community teams in the region, offering fresh competition for all squads. Last season, players hailed from 202 zip codes and 158 hometowns across the region! #SeeYouAtStatesNE
States Reps are your local connection between Qualifier Tournaments and the States Championship. You'll spot them wearing bright orange shirts at tournaments throughout the season, awarding qualifying teams with their Gold Ticket invitation to States, and answering questions from parents.
Meg Garcia
Meg was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and grew up playing basketball, volleyball and track and field. When she wasn't playing sports, she was behind the camera filming and shooting the JV teams. After high school, she went on to attend UConn and received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Hearing Learning Sciences with a minor in interpreting from American Sign Language to English. She also worked for UConn Athletics Film Department primarily under UConn Football for coaches practice and game footage...
Nick Tuccelli
Nick recently graduated from Roger Williams University with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and received a minor in Architecture. He is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Roger Williams for a master's degree in Marketing. He started playing basketball when he was 9 years old and played all the way through high school and continued playing AAU for Evolution. He also used to referee for grades 4-7 for 2 years. Outside of his role as a State Rep, he works for Prep Baseball Report where he scouts high school baseball games, records stats and captures images to be posted on social media. Nick also loves playing intramural basketball and softball and traveling!
Randy McLean
Randy grew up playing in several organized team sports, basketball, hockey, baseball and football. In high school he decided on one sport, basketball. He attended Walled Lake Central High School outside of Detroit, Michigan and his team was ranked as high as 4th in the state his junior year. Randy's senior year, he was awarded with All-Conference and All-State honors. He went on to attend and graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He then started his own company and has been running it for over 25 years. He is now retired on his 3rd generation family farm in Connecticut.
