Hi Bill,
Lock in the dates for the 4th Annual Wisconsin Middle School Basketball Championship! This season, we've added some brand-new State Qualifier tourneys and leagues, including the massive Badger Development Leagues. As a result, we’re expecting north of 150 teams to compete in just the 4th year of our event!
To accommodate the expected growth, we’ve secured some new tournament venues, including the new Bakke Recreation & Wellbeing Center* at the University of Wisconsin-Madison! Located near the shores of Lake Mendota, the new Center offers students a campus home for wellbeing and mental health services, 8 basketball courts, and an ice sheet with spectator seating. The four-level center is located specifically to capture views to the lake and its gentle curves of both the interior and exterior are inspired by the flowing waters and topography in the area.
* NCAA rules prohibit 7th and 8th grade boys from competing on a D-1 campus. As a result, those divisions will play at other local venues.
