,Lock in the dates for the 12th Annual Washington Middle School Basketball Championship!

 



The 2024-25 season has officially tipped off and a few dozen youth squads have already qualified and registered for State 2025. A record-breaking 640 teams competed last March and we're shooting for 700 in Spokane next March.

 

Read on for a list of qualifying events, meet your State Reps, and more!

How to Qualify:

Teams earn their spot at State by placing 1st or 2nd in an Official Qualifier Tournament or League. Qualify early, space at State tends to fill up in late February!

Meet your State Reps!

State Reps are your local connection between Qualifier Tournaments and the State Championship. You'll spot them wearing bright orange shirts at tournaments throughout the season, awarding qualifying teams with their Gold Ticket invitation to State, and answering questions from parents. 

Trey Brahm

Tre is currently attending college pursuing a degree in technology. He grew up in the North East Tacoma area and went to school with athletes like Sefo Liufau (Qb for Colorado buffalo's and Bellarmine Prep) Malachi Flynn (Current NBA player with the Raptors also Bellarmine Prep) and Chico Mcclatcher (UW running back and Federal Way Eagles). He played basketball starting at age five and all the way up to high school...

 

Albert Jaimes

Albert received his undergraduate degree from Seattle University in Public Relations and a masters degree in Sports Management from the University of San Francisco. He grew up playing basketball and is now a parent of kids who play basketball and coaches his son's team. Outside of his role as a State Rep, Jaimes coaches high school football, 13 and under Select Baseball, 10 and under Select Softball and is a Real Estate Broker for Windermere Real Estate...

 

Jasmin Seaman

Jasmin attended Washington State University and double majored in Strategic Communication and Japanese. She played basketball in elementary and middle school. Outside of her role as a State Rep, she works in marketing and is currently in school for programming. She wants to learn how to develop software technology that can change the world...
