Occasionally, the Eligibility Committee will grant an exception to the same school rules for a player who resides outside of the high school boundary in which his/her team represents in the School Division at the Championship.   Coaches must submit a Request of Player Exception to the Eligibility Committee with pertinent details and receive approval for the exception before that player is eligible to compete in a State or Regional Championship. 

All communication regarding rosters and exception rulings will made be to and through the coach of the team.

The approval process is conducted on a case by case basis and approval is not guaranteed.
